Hi ,

While i'm exploring to select an antenna for my RF applcation , I came across multiple datsheets .
I have selected 50 Ohm impedance antenna for my case.On other end of amplifier also I've 50 Ohm of impedance . So I feel like no need of external mathcing circuit to be placed to match this antenna and amplifier .

But in antenna's datasheet they are recommending the matching circuit. So Do I must need to add the matching circuit to my schematics or can I ignore it .

Is the antenna truly 50 ohms Zin @ frequency of
interest, or is the vendor's matching network required
to make it so?

This is something that product docs, or vendor's
product support people, ought to answer - we have
not seen the item or even one thing about it.
