Hi,

I am currently trying to characterize the NMOS and PMOS using Synopsys tools, first graph need to be plotted is Id versus Vgs of which Ive gotten it and successfully plotted.
Now Im trying to plot gm/ID versus Vgs using same Synopsys tools, which Ive tried to google and search similar threads in forum and no ones seems to be using Synopsys tools same as me. Ive tried to use instructions from Cadence tools but it is not same.

Thank you.

I assume you use HSPICE.

Code:
.dc Vgs Lin 501 0.0 0.6
.probe dc par(‘M1:GMO/I1(M1)’)
or
Code:
.dc Vgs Lin 501 0.0 0.6
.probe dc par(‘M1:GMO/M1:CDO’)

Thank you, what it meant by 501 in the code? I know that 0.0 0.6 is sweeping value from 0V with increment of 0.6 right?
