Inter-digitization Pattern and Dummies for MOS Layout

Hello,

I am laying out 8 components for an interdigitated MOS layout.

I am using the pattern:

AB AB BA BA

To add dummies, should I add B's on both sides ?

Is this thinking correct ?

Yes. You should add B on both sides.
If between each groupd has space, the dummies have the same space as well.
 
I would probably do AB AB AB AB with dummies on both sides. Much depends on the preferences of the design engineer
