Hello guys,
I don't know if I am in the right forum, but please move topic if that is so.
I would like to ask you guys for ideas and suggestions. What would be the best industrial solution to implement local database parallel with PLC system? To be more clear: I need to implement some simple PLC system, that will control some conveyors, sensors, actuators and it will communicate with QR code scanner. On the higher level, there will be some IT system, that will have database for QR codes with all the information. But, if network stops working, the machine has to operate and there is a lot of QR reads in short time, so I would need some local database to store information for down time. PLC does not have enough memory for such a base, so I would need some PC based solution I think, with external HDD. What do you suggest?
Thank you.
