Hi guys,

i want to simulate the coils and calculate the Self and mutual inductance of wireless coils using FEMM.Pls help me , i dont how to start, saw a tutorial of FEMM,but couldnt grasp more from it.Anybody who are familiar pls help me

Inductance is more of a magnetic phenomenon rather than electromagnetic. Mutual inductance is sort of like a transformer where the windings have a low coupling coefficient.

Photons have to do with electromagnetism. You can cause a transmitting coil to emit photons. Then it becomes electromagnetic, same as radio waves or light waves.
