Hi,

It is said choke ring antennas can mitigate multipath effect. Can someone recommend some resources about this topic?

More specifically multipath with low elevation satellite tracking of GPS or other global positioning receivers.

I see many resources at Google, e.g. product datasheets, US6040805 patent application. What are you particularly looking for?

Thank you. It seems this technology is optimized for a single frequency. Can it be used for communication signals such as 2G/3G/4?

Generally, no. As mentioned previously, the choke ring blocks signals incoming from certain directions. This works well when you know where the signal is coming from, and where your multi-path is likely to come from.

This is typically not the case with land-based communication systems, as the position of the source is typically fairly arbitrary.
