In a first step, calculate node voltages with disconnected diode, determine if the diode will be forward biased (short) or reverse biased (open). If forward biased repeat calculation for paralleled resistors.

Is there a trick? What is so special?

R1/R2=R3/R4; the potential at the two ends of the diode are equal and hence no current through the diode. Ignore the diode then.

Current through the first part is 5/150; through the right pair is 5/300; total current is 5/150+5/300.

Why you are stuck? Id=0; what is the real difficulty?
