Hello,

I am EM simulating the transition between an IC Input Pad to Shielded Microstrip/GCPW Line (It is a shielded microstrip line) and cannot "picture" the connection of the grounds of the shielding and the ground plane.

Can someone post a screen capture/set up or paper that presents what this would look like ? Most papers are in black and white and it is hard to make out the levels of interconnect and ground planes.

Thank you.

Hello,

This is the structure I am talking about and trying to simulate.

Does anyone have an ideas. I am not sure how to set this up in an EM simulation.

Thank you.
