Hello everyone
I am working on 1 phase to 3 phase inverter project.
I am using FSBB30CH60C IPM igbt module. My problem is that this IPM module is very sensitive to short circuit, and disturbance of control +15vdc. Its Igbt Side is Very good but its gate driving and protection circuit is not good. If +15v control voltage get short for millisec then IPM module get damage. Can anyone suggest me how i can over come my problem

Hi,

we don´t see your circuit... thus all we can do is to recommend to keep on datasheet specifications.

Klaus

The module has internal overcurrent protection (I presume by desaturation monitoring). Shorted 15V supply isn't a risk in reasonable designed circuit.
