Short circuit protection for IGBT module

    Hello everyone
I am working on 1 phase to 3 phase inverter project.
I am using FSBB30CH60C IPM igbt module. My problem is that this IPM module is very sensitive to short circuit, and disturbance of control +15vdc. Its Igbt Side is Very good but its gate driving and protection circuit is not good. If +15v control voltage get short for millisec then IPM module get damage. Can anyone suggest me how i can over come my problem

    Hi,

we donīt see your circuit... thus all we can do is to recommend to keep on datasheet specifications.

Re: Short circuit protection for IGBT module

The module has internal overcurrent protection (I presume by desaturation monitoring). Shorted 15V supply isn't a risk in reasonable designed circuit.
