Rectangular window width adjustment
Hi,
How to adjust the rectangular window width of a filter in simulator if the following parameters can be set accordingly?
Loss: Magnitude loss in dB
SymbolRate: Symbol rate (passband edge frequency = SymbolRate/2)
RollOff: Roll-off factor (between 0 and 1)
SquareRoot: Square root option: NO, YES
PulseEqualization: Pulse equalization option: NO, YES
LengthOption: Filter length option (Auto: 8 * symbol period): Auto, Number of Taps, Number of Symbols, Impulse Time Duration
Length: Filter length (length = 2*delay) (based on LengthOption, specify number of taps, number of symbols, or impulse time duration)
Window: Window function: Rectangular, Bartlett, Hann, Hamming, Blackman, Flat Top
Interpolation: Interpolation (up sampling) factor
Decimation: Decimation (down sampling) factor
DecimationPhase: Decimation (down sampling) phase
InterpolationScaling: Gain adjustment for interpolation: NO, YES

Re: Rectangular window width adjustment
Maybe if you gave some context. Like WHAT SOFTWARE ARE YOU USING????
Maybe the window width is fixed by the Filter Length. Maybe not.

Re: Rectangular window width adjustment
I’m using SystemVue from Keysight. I think the window length is a time domain issue so maybe “Impulse Time Duration” shall be configured, but what is “Number of Symbols”?
