Difference between MAX 485 iC

Dear all.

I would like to know major difference between these ICS.

weather same circuit is valid both all these units


max485 ----> Low-Power, Slew-Rate-Limited RS-485/RS-422 Transceivers

ADM 2483 ------>differential bus transceiver

ADM 2483 is Isolated type , Transmit and receiving truth table are different.

the first two links don´t work for me.
My recommendation: Always use the datasheets directely from the manufacturers, not from second source. Second source may time out and may not be updated.

At the manufacturers internet sites you will find additional documents like application notes. usually they answer all the remaining questions after you read the datasheets.
