Need Help in choosing a right wireless Transceiver module

hi all

right now i involved in a project called Overhead tank water management system for a college...
in that college the motor and the tank were situated faraway distances...
i need to choose a right transceiver module for sending and receiving the data ...

kindly suggest me a module for that....
thanks in advance...
 

Hi,

I assume the "tank" side sends its water level....and the pump side is the receiver and decides to switch ON/OFF the pump.

I can't recommend a radio system..

But I recommend to build some fail safe system:
* Maybe the "tank" sends every minute it's level
* if the receiver doesn"t receive the information for several minutes it should start an alarm ...and switch OFF the pump
* to prevent from complete fail of water supply I further recommend to start a "stand alone" backup mode: Maybe run the pump for 10 minutes every hour. (Choose meaningful fix values, or use data from the days before)

thanks for your reply

the concept is something different,
i that college they are having 4 open well, and 3 to 4 motor in each open well and each motor had connected to 2 to 5 tanks, so we need to make it automated all by using a wireless.
the distance between the well and tank is maximum of 1.5 to 2 kms.
kindly suggest me the suitable one.

the device part number is E32-TTL-1W (433T30D)
can i use this module for my new project.
 

nRF24L01 with power amplifier and rubber duek antenna - 1 Km range.

XBee 1 to 2 KM range.
