I am a bit confused on how to arrived at the phase ( φ = (π/2) - tan^(-1) (Rs * Cgs * ωLO ) ) stated in the book ? I am not getting the the first pi/2 factor. Could anyone help ?

Besides, how do we derive the dc component expression (6.4) ?
