hi,

i want to know about the transformer design used in the following link.

"***.qsl.net/in3otd/ham_radio/PD85004_PP_PA_II/PD85004_PP_PA_II.html"

How turn ratios are defined (BN 43-2402 and BN 43-202 cores ) ? Can i find any doc related to transformer design?

Regards

They are just Impedance Matching Transformers. He has optimized appropriate Input and Output Impedance for the PA and calculated.
That's it..

Is it 1:4 impedance transformer?
This design is for 10 Mhz . Can i use the same transformer design for 40 MHz?

I don't know but if it's designed with Ferrite Cores, the transformer is probably wideband transformer.
