Hi experts,

i have a doubt in placement, May i know what is the legalization in Placement,what is the importance of this step in placement,

how we will do it By using cadence and synopsis tools. Please help me on this,

Legalization is a step that makes sure no cell overlaps other cells. You don't run it, the tool does it internally.

Legalization is a step within placement, not within floorplaning. There are commands to check if the floorplan is valid (on grid and non-overlapping), however.
