Hi,
I just started working as an analog designer and studying I saw several papers on the inversion coefficient designing approach but the professionals that I have contact no one really uses this method.
My question is, are there designers who use this method professionally?
Is it really a faster and more optimal way of design?

have used it, but the practical work is in most cases: take an existing circuit and modify it. you get a feeling about. This method is useful when designing very low power circuits, when i remember right.

Which paper/book are you using? from Sansen, Vitoz? The last time i read about it was ~2008. Long time.

A more practical method is to use the id/gm method.
