I am assuming that simply disabling the input stimuli in my top level test bench is the equivalent of a floating input, is this a valid assumption?

In the sense that you have no idea of the outcome,
I'd say yes. But there -will- be an outcome and how
lack of input is handled (maybe "X" in digital, but what
an analog simulator does with unassigned variables
is usually barf an error and fail) I have no useful guess.
Should be easy enough to run one time and see.

I'm running a test to verify that my pull up and pull down networks default to the correct case for a floating input to the chip. I'm seeing results similar to what I would expect, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't making a big mistake assuming this was okay to do. Thanks.
