noise frequency of servo and vfd drives

what will be the approximate noise frequency that servo and vfd motor drives create. i am choosing ferrate bead for that i must know the noise frequency level.

Re: noise frequency of servo and vfd drives

    Hi,

This means we need to guess what VFD you use. You over estimate our capabilities.

I assume you know which VFD you use: Why not read the datasheet?

Re: noise frequency of servo and vfd drives

VFD switching frequency is in a 4 to 20 kHz range, depending on the power switch technology, voltage and output power.

Ferrite beads are almost useless for the VFD fundamental frequency, the harmonic spectrum can't be directly derived from fundamental.
