Dear all,

I would like to use spice model for one of the commercial ICs in cadence virtuoso then make a symbol for it. I read that i should create new cell view and past the model in it then simulate it using spectra.but what is the type and the view of the new cell view?

Regards

I would like to use spice model for one of the commercial ICs in cadence virtuoso then make a symbol for it.
There many simulators which can be launched from ADE in Cadence Virtuoso.

What simulator do you use ?

but what is the type and the view of the new cell view?
I assume you use Cadence Spectre.
Copy symbol view as spectre view.

if you assume that I will create the symbol first then link the model to it, I want to know how can I link the spice model to the created symbol?
