Hi,

I have a cirucit operated from a 12V battery. I am designing a circuit for charging the batteries using inductive charging. The cirucit should be disconnected from the batteries when charging and also when not in use. As the system will be in a closed packaging, I want to access the system only from outside. So I need a switch to disconnect my circuit from the batteries when not in use. I was looking for magnetic switches but couldn't find appropriate solutions. My packaging is 3mm thick.

Any ideas on how I can proceed?

Regards

How does the device know when it's "not in use"? You could use a simple reed switch or a hall sensor to effect external control of a switch.
