Hi, Is it ok to solder 403 SMD packages by hand ? These components are very small and can easily be flown off even by twizzlers etc. What are the suggestions for soldering such small components ?

I use two soldering irons and a microscope. I've spent many an hour sweating under a hot microscope!

Presume you mean 0402 package (1.0 x 0.5 mm).

With some practice you can solder it well by hand and even produce good looking prototype boards. If you are assembling more than 10 chips or so, I would consider to use solder paste and solder the board on a hot plate, that's at least easy for single side populated boards.
