Hello guys,

I am trying to put together some setup to drive ultrasonic transducers of variable frequencies.
What i need is ready-to-use powerful air transducers but i am not sure where to find one.
If, for instance, i have to use ultrasonic transducers like this one here (https://www.steminc.com/PZT/en/ultrasonic-air-transducer-60-khz), can i just get a low voltage power supply 0-30v like this one (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071RNT1CD/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ADAUS9RB7NG5N&psc=1). I don't know if i will be able to get the resonant frequency to drive out ultrasonic freq with this setup.
I want to be able to use different ultrasonic transducers (40kHz-200kHz) with output SPL 110dB at least at a range of 1meter or more, but i don't know if i can use 'one setup' to drive all these different ultrasonic frequencies.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thank you.

Re: Driver circuit for UltraSonic transducer

A power supply cannot drive a piezo ultrasonic transducer. It powers an oscillator and power amplifier that drives the transducer at its resonant frequency.

Thanks for the prompt response.
Could you please guide me as to where (online) i can get full setup for powerful ultrasonic transducers including the driver circuit?
I am new to ultrasonic but need to test something such that i can operate piezo ultrasonic transducer to generate multiple desired freq (40khz - 200khz) one at a time with SPL above 110db over 1m range.

I will also need some sort of ultrasonic microphone that can record such signals for analysis on laptop. I did come some ultrasonic transducer with driver circuit on Ebay but they are mainly for ultrasonic 'cleaner' which i don't think produce that powerful output signal.

The thread below is about driving an ultrasonic transducer.
I posted a driver circuit there, designed to send full supply voltage back and forth through a series LC, by detecting its resonant frequency automatically. The concept may be adapted for your purposes.
