Hello,

The vendor I am contacting for my LiPo battery provides IEC62133 certified batteries but asked me if I want to add an NTC Thermistor to the PCB of the battery pack?
This would simplify our assembly work but I do not want it to have issues with the certificate that the battery has.
I would infer that as the NTC would not be used by the PCB, the certification would still be valid but I am not sure.

Any thoughts?
