Hi All,

I am using RDM6300 125KHz RFID cardreader ,i connected it Direct to PC using Serial to USB Converter(only TX and ground used in reader) and i try to read RFID tag on "TeraTerm" (serial terminal)

but i got value but i can't understand what is the relation between the value i got it on "TeraTerm" and Number Written on tag.

My tag Number is "0008813794" and i got on Screen when i swab the tag on reader is "uy."

RDM6300 is, I think, TTL level output but your serial to USB adapter may expect RS232. If that is the case, you need to convert the levels and invert the data before it can be read. Look for MAX232 for clues.

Brian.
