    temperature problem with mosfet

    I used a mosfet driver tc4422 to control a irf510.
The problem i faced was how to connect it without damage

    Re: temperature problem with mosfet

You have wrongly tuned the circuit then. You are not achieving ZVS.

Without circuit parameters no switching loss calculation possible.

the circuit appears to be missing a diode?

No. That is why "Cp" is there.

    Re: temperature problem with mosfet

Cp is already in parallel with a diode ( the mosfet) for DC in the load another diode is needed...

    Re: temperature problem with mosfet

I'd begin with what the uC is doing - its on-time is the only
first-order limit to the current through FET and boost inductor.

When you have that sorted, then look to your heat sink
(and -its- heat sink, airflow etc.).

I think he does not want DC in the load in a resonant sine wave inverter.
