I am working on a dc to dc converter. I am generating gate pulses using pic micro controller with 67 percent duty ratio. i am getting the proper pulses from controller and when i give this pulse to gate of mosfet (which is isolated from circuit), the gate pulses are distorting. Please give the reason for this and how can i rectify this problem.

Not sure what "isolated from circuit" means in this case.
- there is an isolation circuit between controller and MOSFET. Please show details.
- you are connecting MOSFET gate directly to controller, source to ground, drain open

In the latter case, you are missing an appropriate gate driver circuit. µC output isn't suited to drive large capacitive loads.

Can you please share the schematic showing connections between pic and mosfet ?
