Remarks in Schematic

I have read some application notes. I often see some cluster of components in schmatic circuits are bound with a rectangular box. And it's write "DNP" or "DNA"...

What do "DNA" and "DNP" stand for?

Re: Remarks in Schematic

DNP is 'Do Not Populate'.

It meen that the component shall not be installed (soldered) on the board at production. Usually, pads are left on the PCB for debuging purpose.

I don't know about DNA, but I guess something similar.

Re: Remarks in Schematic

DNP .. as above ..
also
DNP = distance from the neutral point of the solder joints ... printed circuit board (PCB)

DNA : Digital Network Architecture / Distributed InterNet Applications / Did Not Answer / Does Not Apply
