I did some searches about the 1/f noise in AMOS varactors/Junction varactors, but can not find anything...
Can someone share any information, such as 1/f noise comparison, layout technique...

1/f noise in varactors is rarely studied. Is that because they do not affect the VCO's phase noise very much??

Thanks

This noise is present in all physical things, even chair legs where it is so small and low frequency that you do not notice the changing length. The 1/f noise in variable capacitance diodes directly modulate the phase of the oscillator. Some brands are better than others.
