    Guidance reqd to start a career in PCB designing

    Hi All,

    I'm new in PCB designing field and looking basic knowledge to start my career. Please guide some tips and insight which help me to move into field.

    Hi,

    First you need to decide the focus of your circuit design.
    * HF,
    * high current
    * high denstiy
    * standard logic
    * analog
    * and so on.

    And please don't say "everything".

    Then do an internet search for "precision analog PCB design" (example).
    Many datasheets guide you to design an appropriate PCB layout.

    Thanks. Please also provide on what basis we decide the width of the track or size of via etc. Plus need some info on last 3 points of RS274X format.
    RS274X includes:
    1. embedded apertures
    2. embedded format, unit and data information
    3. multiple layers embedded in a single file
    4. special polygon fill commands
    5. film control statements
    6. custom aperture definitions
