how to get a good radaition pattern of patch antenna

It is highly dependent on what you are using the antenna for. In case you need the antenna to be used with base station , it should be omni directional and this response is not good , whereas if you need it places where a more directional response is needed then this will be better . Apart from this we may also need the gain and the efficiency of the antenna to decide if it is good or not.
 

Thank you raventj, but if i whould like to improve this radiation pattern, what should i do? what is the factor that affect the radiation pattern?
