Glossy papper for sensing application

Dear,
I have attached an image of a pepper type reflector for sensing applications.
Can you tell which type of material is this and which type of sensor sutable for
This reflector . If possible make a schematic also.

Do you wish to reflect light back in the same direction it comes from? A 90 degree corner is able to do that. Three surfaces meeting exactly like a corner of a room. Such structures were placed on the moon, so they can reflect radar beams back to Earth, yielding accurate distance readings.

I suppose your glossy paper contains many tiny corner reflectors all over its surface. I don't know how they are created.
 

Hi,

Look for retroreflectors. They are available as thin adhesive foil. Often used at traffic signs.
