Hi,

I need to add two proximity switches (just on and off) to a device, to be implemented as pads on a PCB with solder mask over top (Think common on/off household light switch)

I can use 2 x MTCH101 (with no guard trace) or use one MTCH105 (with a guard trace). The layout will be easier if I can use 2 x MTCH101 layout wise as all routing will be done on one side (solid ground plane on touch side of PCB (other than the two sensor pads) so that is my preferred solution, however if the no guard trace solution is likely to be overly sensitive to false triggers I will use the MTCH05.

Does anyone have experience with these parts in a real world application?
