Thick ground track?

How do i set the autorouter to render the GND track thicker than the other paths? Thanks.

Re: Thick ground track?

Which router? Different routers have different capabilities.

The ability to set a specific width for a specific net is generally one of the setup options for the router. The setup is done in different ways, depending on which router you are using.

Re: Thick ground track?

If you read the manual for Eagle, you will see that the minimum track width is set under the net class. The autorouter uses the greater of the values set in the design rules, or the net class.

See pages 93, and 140 in the manual:

Thick ground track?

I found the net class settings and figured it out. thanks anyway

Re: Thick ground track?

It depends on the software you use.In case of power pcb in design rules you can set the track width for ground alone so that autorouter will use that width
