Hi,

Can anyone please tell me what are the differences between rated current and peak current looking at the image I attached?

Thanks

Re: [moved] Small question confuses me

Taking a WILD guess, I assume you've got data on motors there; you didn't tell us. Rated current is what the motor normally runs at; peak current is the maximum it will draw, like at startup or when stalled.

Re: [moved] Small question confuses me

Rated current is the current at the nominal torque; peak current is the starting current or the current with locked rotor
