Hi!
I have decided to design a PIFA antenna as it gives an omni-directional pattern, and I wanted to know if I make a design with a short and a feed could it still be called a PIFA ?!

Thank you

The PIFA antenna radiator is mounted just above the ground layer and feed one arm of antenna w.r.t to ground.
Can you put a picture of your design?

Dear anilkrpandey ,
please find attached the antenna design.
Thank you!

Well its not strictly planar so strictly it should be called an IFA antenna, but if it works the name is not important.
