Hi folks,

Can anyone please explain me comparison between folded-cascode and class ab based on the application? Please give me some reference if you have for the comparison between this two.
Thanks.

You are comparing apples and oranges.
Folded-cascode is a way to design an amplifier stage.
Class AB describes the manner a power output is driven.

Folded cascode would be your current source
limited gain stage. Class AB would be your source
follower (or, a fancy-controlled common source)
output stage meant to deliver any necessary
current.
