What is the future scope for cognitive radio technology? Is it practically applicable? whether it is good for doing research in cognitive radio? If so what are the research areas under consideration?
 

Cognitive radio is mainly good for spectrum sensing , sharing , allocation etc . It has wide range of application. the areas can be - cooperative spectrum sensing , security based sensing using CR,Maximum energy efficiency by using CR sensing .
sensing is mainly done to find how we can maximize the probability of detection and reduce probability of false alarming etc.
try this area ..its a good choice..
