Dear all,

I have a very curious problem with Calibre PEX tool which I cant even configure why it happens

Calibre 2015 is installed on the system and it works very good with different designs
But in one of my designs when I configure its output to be in the calibreview format it doesn't generate anything!!!

-----------
Everything works correctly but after I configure calibre view setup window for generating schematic view it ends with this error

Calibre View generation encountered a fatal Error.
Please consult the logfile for messages.

But I can't figure it out where is this logfile
contents of calview.log is this

but it doesn't make sense to me?

Do anyone knows where is this logfile which will guide me to find error source?

Hi -

A bit more detail would be good. I am guessing as you are not sure where the log is that you are running from a GUI - which one?

Also, the bit of log you do show indicates there is at least one beta variable turned on; do you know which one? Beta code is not considered production, sometimes because of undesirable interactions with other common features.

And finally... the beginning of the log seems to indicate it is PEX back annotation, but then there is the Calibre FDI heading. Things may have changed since I last ran PEX (almost 1o years ago now!) but at the time, it did not use the FDI backannotation utility. If you can find a shell script or similar, that may help diagnose everything. Perhaps the problem is that two different executables are trying to work with the netlist at the same time.

Good luck-

Sam.
