How to safely increase current from a crystal oscillator?

hi ,
i am designing a RF amplifier to be connected to the output of 12 Mhz Pierce cyrstal oscillator, i need to increase the current from my oscillator.

How can i do it without harming my oscillations ?
i am using 2n2222a ,and even after biasing i am not able to produce faithful output .

Any circuit you can suggest ? how can i be sure that my bias is proper (i 've followed the typical textbook approach still coudn't get it right )
should i use OPAMP ?

This looks like an application for a buffer IC. These have high input impedance and low output impedance and high output current capability.

Many IC companies make these for driving video lines as one common application.

Oscillator is usually followed by one or two stages of emitter follower for decoupling purposes and low impedance output (current amplification).
