Re: libraries in P&R

Hi,
The basic requiremnet of the P & R flow are:
1. Gate level netlist ie. u will get this netlist from any synthesis tool.
2. Standard libraries such as
LEF: Library Exchange Format files: these files contaion the detail information regarding layers used, contacts ie physical informaton which is provided by vendors or library doveloper such as artisan etc

TLF/ALF/.lib: these r the timing libraries provided by the same as LEF.
TLF : Timing Library Format
ALF Ambit Library Format
.lib : timing libraries from synopsys

Note: u can use any one above said

3. Timing constarints file which consist of information regarding clock, delays, skew etc

may these files sufficient to start the P & R .
on which tool u r working ?
