In my design, I want to send the data from PCI Express to AXI DMA IP core provided by xilinx. Can I directly take the stream out of the PCI Express and feed it to the stream input of AXI DMA IP? I ask this because, in the kintex 7 board, there are special clock and reset pins for PCIE and the system clock and system reset pins cannot be used for resetting PCIE core. Similarly, will there be any issue if I directly give the PCIE stream data to the stream input pin of DMA IP? In short, is there any difference between the AXI stream signals in PCIE core and stream signals in AXI DMA?
