Hello everyone,
I have problem with receiving frames from my CAN. I am using SJA1000T controller + TJA1050 interface. CAN communication module is connected to my Raspberry Pi. Below there's my connection scheme.

I've already worked with other devices on serial port and it worked fine. But here while I'm listening serial port (e.g. by cutecom) I am not receiving anything. I tried switching to UART but result is same as GPIO.
Used communication module: **broken link removed**. Any suggestion how to change my connection? Should I set some additional configuration?

Hi,

the names on the CAN controller say RD and WR. These are control lines for parallel bus communication.
--> These are no serial, no UART, no RxD, no TxD lines.

Please refer to the SJA datasheet on how to communicate with the IC.
