bpsk erfc

hi,

I want to plot the Ber vs Eb/No. I want to make sure i have the right equation to plot.I'll be using matlab to plot the curve.

Pe = 0.5*erfc(√(Eb/No)); for BPSK

Is this right?

Thank you.

ber equation

Thats the right equation, in the presence of additive gaussian noise.

bpsk ber

yep this equation is right..

best of luck

Err in the presence of additive gaussian noise?

I'm plotting the simulated value ( with awgn added to it ) against the theoretical value.

1)Am i right to plot with the simulated value with theoretical equation in the first post?

2) Does anyone know where this equation comes from :

Pe = 0.5 erfc(sqrt(10^(g/10)/2))

Is this equation similar to Pe = 0.5 erfc(sqrt(Eb/No))

Hehe I'm confused.

Thank you

bpsk ber matlab

If you are using Matlab, you can easily plot theoretical graph for BPSK.

Re: bpsk ber matlab

hi
i want plot Pb vs Eb/No for 2DPSK in the presence of AWGN. can any one help me
thanks
