Which Opto Triac to use to replace 24V and 10 A rated relay.

I want to replace 24V 10A rated relay by a suitable Traic Based opto Coupler. Please suggest.

Hi,

An optotriac usually is a low current driver device...to drive the gate of a high current triac.

I assume it is 24V AC, 50 or 60 Hz.
But i can't find out if you want zero cross switching, what input voltage and current, is load ohmic or complex?

Solid state relays with 10 A and higher current rating are widely available, look for hockey-puck-ssr. But did you consider that the voltage drop of a triac based relays will cause much power dissipation? Alternatively an AC capable MOSFET based solid state relay could be used.
