Why does the topswitch-jx flyback controller have optocoupler feedback configured with the opto in “common collector” configuration, when most other monolithic flyback controllers implement it as the “common emiter” configuration (eg FSGM056R controller)
Page 17 of this (LT4430 datasheet) states how “The common-collector configuration of the opto-coupler eliminates the miller
effect of the opto output transistor’s collector-to-base capacitance"
and generally increases achievable loop bandwidth..
