Hi all. I am trying to build a buck converter with feedback loop. The output is suppose to be a 5V and i am using a type 3 compensator. The input is 12V, however i am unable to obtain a 5V and worst there's ripple at the output when using psim. My compensator doesn't seem to be working as it does not produce a control voltage.

Hi,

Not my area, so won't waste words... Have you read:

"Compensator Design Procedure for Buck Converter with Voltage-Mode Error-Amplifier" an-1162 by International Rectifier?

Hope it can help.

Thanks! I have solve the problem. The next part is to figure out how to generate triangle with high frequency
