Hi Guys!

I'm working on a project, I have a device with a SIM808 and a embedded microcontroller (STM32).

I want to create a simple bluetooth system to do a "role call" of objects in the proximity.

My idea was to use my device as a beacon, and small BT tags which I can just use their serial number to check if there are reachable or not. I can only find consumer grade tags, with too much features.

Do you know some not too expensive simple bluetooth tag that I can just scan with AT+BTSCAN? Just tell me the right direction where to search more info. Thanks :D :)

EDIT: Found that I need what are called "Bluetooth Beacons", the problem now is to find Bluetooth 3.0 beacons with a good battery lasting, or a premade device that could with just a small PIC (like) microcontroller and BT4 chip, so I can write a small daugtherboard for our system

Alby :-D
