I tried to use a GPU acceleration in FEKO for a few days, but I failed.

At the "component launch options" dialog,
1) I checked "Use GPU(graphics processing) for NVIDIA CUDA devices" checkbox,
2) and also checked "specify number of parallel processes: 1" to use GPU acceleration.(because FEKO doesn't support multi-core when using GPU. isn't it?)

But the solver stopped with the following messages,
" ......
FEKO caught signal 8
Floating point exception: Floating point invalid operation
ERROR 3977: Internal FEKO error. Please notify the FEKO support team and provide the error number, preferably together with the FEKO input and output files.
See also message in the output file test_151029_fr_1_ada_1.out
......"

I've already asked the FEKO supporting team by e-mail, but they didn't answer my questions yet.

So, what is the problem... are there any options that I should check?

please rescue me in this problem :(

<my computer: Xeon E3-1231v3, GTX 970, 32GB RAM>
<FEKO version: FEKO suite 7.0>

I've tried several methods to fix that problem so far

1) installed '32 bit OS' instead of 64 bit OS
2) replace Xeon E3-1231v3 with I5-2500

But FEKO is occurred the same problem(; floating point exception....).

Does anyone know how to fix it?

FEKO doesn't support simultaneous runs of GPU and parallel CPU processing. Select either one or the other. Hope that helps!
