Hi,
I want to implement the battery management system for the car, which sensor is suitable to get the voltage, current & temperature and remaining things like over charge, over voltage, over current & over temperature protection etc.....

please suggest a sensor which is suitable for car battery management system, i am going to use 6 cell LiFePo4 battery. That sensor should have a feature to communicate with micro controller via. simple communication protocol.

Thanks & Regards,

proposal:

ACS712 hall effect sensor to measure the DC current , with galvanic insulation
range 0-5A , 0-20A

ADC12 bits like MCP3304 4CH 12 bits for :
-Amps (analog signal from ACS712)
-Battery voltage
-temperature LM35DZ (0-50°C) 0 -500mV
use classic I2C protocole

or maybe a specialized device .. see LTC family power management & other supplier
